New for 2008

New this year is our toilet/shower block for ladies, gents & disabled. Also in this building we will have a new tackle shop, stocking everything you will need for your fishing trip.

On the Specimen Lake we have constructed new stone paths from the car park to all 6 swims. The swims are also stoned with grass behind for bivvies & log edged by the waterside. In front of the logs i.e. in the water we have dug out the margin 2ft deep so that we have a safe depth of water for catching & releasing our carp.

We have also undertaken a large planting program on the Specimen Lake, including 20 trees 8ft to 15ft high around the waters edge & many aquatic plants including sedge grass, flag iris & bulrush to name but a few.
